The California High-Speed Rail Authority (Authority), in cooperation with design-build contractor Dragados-Flatiron Joint Venture (DFJV), announces the closure of South Avenue between Cedar and Maple avenues in Fresno County for construction of an overpass. Work is scheduled to begin Monday, March 4, 2019 and continue through 2020.
East South Avenue between Cedar and Maple avenues will be closed through 2020.
This work is part of construction of an overpass that will grade separate BNSF railroad and high-speed rail tracks.
Embankment construction at Excelsior Avenue between 8th Avenue and 9th Avenue in Kings County will begin Monday, February 11 and is expected to continue through 2019.
Intermittent closures; expect heavy truck traffic.
The California High-Speed Rail Authority (Authority), in cooperation with design-build contractor Dragados-Flatiron Joint Venture (DFJV), announces that Avenue 120, just west of SR 43 in Tulare County, will be reduced to one lane for both directions for asphalt overlay paving. Drivers will follow a pilot car and take turns driving through the work zone. Work is scheduled to begin Tuesday, November 12, and continue through early December.
